We were established in 1928 as Yüksel Kahve. Our country was accustomed to coffee from Yemen at that time when coffee culture was more and more adopted and was becoming more and more popular. While there were wars, rules, prohibitions, and laws, it had gotten harder for coffee to come to our country. Yüksel Kahve, which wanted to handle this situation, took great steps to bring coffee to our country with long and hard efforts despite all kinds of difficulties. As a result of these efforts, Yüksel Kahve succeeded in meeting all the unroasted coffee needs of the Tekel General Directorate between 1955-1980 years with its import branches and enabled coffee to become widespread in our country again. In 1967, in the 44th year of our Republic, development movements took place and electricity started to be produced in our country. Moreover, roads were built for transportation all over the country. Mechanization in agriculture had increased, and it was very easy to reach sugar. However, something was missing… Despite all efforts, there was no coffee yet. As Yüksel Kahve, we researched and learned about Brazilian coffee, which is better quality and more efficient than traditional Yemen coffee, and since this year we have successfully imported coffee, which has become a habit of our country and then a deficiency. When the import of coffee became free in 1980, we exported roasted and ground coffees to Istanbul and Anatolian markets in addition to the unroasted coffee that we import. Thus, we became official and we received our title, named Yüksel Kahve Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş., on December 27, 1983. We continue our activities by developing instant coffee and coffee cream. Today, we are present in Istanbul, Anatolia, and the world market with our instant coffee, coffee cream, and ground coffees.
